That’s why we created Driver Appreciation Day, a simple but meaningful initiative from the BUMI team to give back to the local drivers of Bali.
A Small Gesture, Made With Heart
Every day in Bali, online delivery drivers work tirelessly behind the scenes. They’re out on the roads in the heat, in the rain, through traffic, and across long hours, helping keep daily life moving for so many people. Whether they’re delivering meals, groceries, or packages, their hard work often goes unnoticed.
We wanted to take a moment to change that.
For Driver Appreciation Day, the BUMI team came together to prepare fresh, home-cooked meals and hand them out to online delivery drivers passing by on the street. It wasn’t a big campaign or a grand production. It was something simple, genuine, and from the heart, our way of saying:
We see you. We appreciate you. Thank you for all that you do.
More Than a Meal
This project was never just about handing out food. It was about creating a moment of care for the people who spend their days taking care of everyone else. A reminder that their hard work matters. That someone notices. That someone is grateful.
